Privacy

Last updated 13 September 2026

This is a personal portfolio. It has no accounts, no sign-up, no forms, no shopping cart and no newsletter. It collects nothing about you. The sections below describe the few places where your browser talks to a server anyway, because that is true of any website and pretending otherwise would be the dishonest version of this page.

What this site stores on your device

Nothing. No cookies, no local storage, no session storage, no database in your browser. There is no consent banner because there is nothing to consent to — see the cookie page for how to check that claim yourself in about ten seconds.

Analytics

There are none. No Google Analytics, no Plausible, no Fathom, no Matomo, no pixel, no tag manager, no heatmap, no session recording. I do not know how many people visit this site, and I have not tried to find out.

Hosting

The site is served by GitHub Pages. Like any web host, GitHub receives the requests your browser makes — your IP address, the page requested, your user agent, the time — and handles them under GitHub's privacy statement. I do not receive those logs and cannot see them.

Fonts

The three typefaces are stored in this site's own repository and served from the same place as the page. Your browser does not contact Google, or any other font service, to render this site.

The embedded demos

Two panels on the home page embed live projects of mine in an iframe. Both are set to load lazily, which means your browser only connects to them if you scroll far enough for them to come into view:

Both are my own projects rather than third-party widgets, and neither is an advertising or tracking service. Both embeds are sent without a referrer, so the demo is not told which page you came from.

The text box in the NLP comparison

This is the only part of the site that sends anything you produce off the page. When you type a message and press Compare, that text is sent to my crisis-classifier service on Render, which returns the model's prediction and its per-word attributions.

That text is not stored by this site, and it is not connected to you in any way — no identifier is sent with it. The service receiving it is mine, and like any web service it may keep ordinary request logs. Please do not type anything personal, sensitive or confidential into it. It exists to demonstrate a classifier on example sentences, and a made-up sentence demonstrates it just as well as a real one.

Live figures

A few numbers on the home page are fetched at load time from a results file published by another of my projects on GitHub Pages, so the page cannot quote a figure that has gone stale. That request carries nothing about you beyond what any request carries.

Links to other sites

Links to GitHub, LinkedIn, the National High School Journal of Science and the Willow Initiative leave this site. Once you follow one, that site's own privacy policy applies and this one stops being relevant.

Information about me on this site

The site publishes my name, photograph, city, school, work history and email address. That is deliberate — it is a portfolio, and those details are the point of it. It is not information collected from you.

Children

This site is not directed at children and does not knowingly collect information from anyone, of any age, because it does not collect information at all.

Your rights

Privacy laws generally give you the right to see, correct or delete the personal data a site holds about you. I hold none, so there is nothing to show you and nothing to delete. If you believe that is wrong, or you want something about this site changed, email abhineeth78@gmail.com and I will answer.

Changes

If the site starts collecting something — an analytics script, a contact form, anything — this page will say so before that goes live, and the date at the top will change. The full edit history of this page is public in the repository, so you can check what it said at any point in the past rather than taking my word for it.
